A little flower brooch I made this week. I just felt I needed a flower brooch. ( hah- felt- get it? felt flower brooch! groan)
I could not resist these dollies in Mexico. They are made by hand by these beautiful women and girls in amazing sort of traditional looking outfits, who walk around town selling them for too cheap. The big one was only $5 and I wished I had given them $10, which still would not be enough based on the work that goes into them. I like the faces which have a bit if a Japenses cute thing going on.
This is a pretty jar of wildflower honey from Germany which is replacing Mr. Tibbs the guinea pig, who has now gone home to his real family. I will miss the little feller. He really did fit right in to our household. The honey was a lovely thank-you gift because I had been lying in bed this mornign thinking I wanted toast with honey and cinnamon, but did not have honey!
