My garen is now a riot of green compared to how it was only one month ago. I even see a poppy about to bloom. I had thrown in a packet of poppy seeds understanding that they bloom in the second year!
That unsightly rusty pole must be the remnants of a grape arbour from days past.
These are my geraniums which I have been nursing along since winter. I am quite pleased! One is about to bloom. The blue spotted pot I found a few years ago at a garage sale and the orange one to match, I found in the trash this spring- what luck! The yellowy one is a mexican planter from a sweet shop in Bloomfield Ontario called Casa Lucia. It somehow has a marigold blooming in the middle of it, perhaps I put it there and forgot? Of course, the one on the far right has mint in it too. Impossible to control, that mint.
