I LOVE all of them - have you made any of it? I bought a book from her last year (or it may even have been the year before eeek) but I am so not a dressmaker and patterns scare me silly - the stupid part is I can make stuff without a pattern but I freak at all those instructions. I have promised myself I will do it one day...... :D

Always so many temptations on Pomadour's shop... You may have heard of it already, but there's a french blog entirely dedicated to sewing out of those books, there are hundreds of participants and thousands of posts! http://japancouture.canalblog.com/

Post scriptum: do you know that Pomadour also has an ebay shop, less agreeable than an etsy shop of course, but where there are even more images of the inside of the books?

I have the Check & Stripe book (2nd from top) and it is fantastic! Probably my favourite Japanese craft book ever. It's a really good mix of women's and children's patterns, and some homewares too + beautiful photography.
