Here are the birdies names, since some of you were curious. Starting at the red box in the upper left and going left to right we have: Winsome, Alison, Freddie, Dorothea, Wendy, Francine, Jemma, Wendal, Frank, Deliah, Joseph, Edward, Janine, Georgina, Andrew, Ralph, Katherine, Camilla, Rudy, Wilfred, Bea, Saul, William, Harmony, Hank, Cecile, Andrea and Janie.
These names, I seem to remember, were just pulled out of thin air and aren't my all time favorite names, though I definately like them. For example, I might not name my own son Ralph - though I loved Ralphie in "A chritsmas Story" come to think of it...How can you not love that kid? Winsome was the name of an IKEA cafeteria woman I saw, Francine and Wendy just always popped into my head and Saul was just funny. It made me think of a cigar smoking tough talking garage owner.
P.S. Excuse my lack of an Illustration Friday picture today. The theme was "sorrow" and I just didn't feel like opening that door to come up with something. I'm not in the mood to be gloomy. I wonder what others have come up with?
what a great classroom of birdnames. i'm imagining you taking role call. i also love that ralph! it's tradition for my family to watch the x-mas story... every year it's still funny & poignant.

Wonderful names! Have you seen the Baby Name Voyager http://babynamewizard.com/namevoyager/lnv0105.html that was on rebecky's blog a week or so ago? Shows the rise and fall of names over the last century.
