Amy sent me a loot bag! It is so very pretty that I don't want to take it out of it's plastic envelope. The picture isn't the best, but those are the sweetest little stamps from the Netherlands, awesome patterned paper and snowflake + flower confetti!

On the back is a vintage "it's a boy!" notice, a Chinese envelope, another stamp and inside hidden are these pretty teeny glassine envelopes and neat punch cards that I have never seen before.
It was part of mail I was expecting < ;) > but THIS I did not expect. It's beautiful, just like your
amazing artwork! Thank you Amy!! Keep your eyes on the mailbox for a proper thanks.
Wow those stamps are awesome! That's some nice loot :)

I thought those stamps looked familiar ;)
Thought you might be interested in some background info on those stamps.
They're from two series of 'children stamps' (it's a thing where children go door to door selling these stamps, money goes to charities for children)
If you go to http://www.kinderpostzegels.nl/over_kinderpostzegels/1032_geschiedenis.asp (sorry, it's all in dutch :/ some info in english). Somewhere near the bottom of the page in a blue/grey area you see 'Kinderpostzegel overzicht'. Click on it and in the new screen select a year. Yours are in 1965 and 1967 but I find most of them very interesting.
And I really like the loot bag, such a wonderful idea :-D
