It's that time of year again! Leaves all over the place.
I am exited because I just got my
Mother Bear pattern the other day. It is getting to be the perfect weather to knit and I need a new project. Not having kids of my own yet, making toys always seems to leave me kind of - well, I never know where to put the things. Our place is already over run with beautiful things that have faces. I do know some charming babies though, and soon I can start making stuff for them. In the meantime it's nice to think I can do something useful for the world like make a bear for this project. I'll keep you posted! The pattern seems like I may be able to figure it out. Ofcourse, I am busting at the seams for
Jess Hutch's booklette!
Seasoned knitters, is this what happens? You learn to knit one day and limp along with a garter stitch for months and then suddenly all you can think about is knitting. I brought a ball of yarn to work to teach my co-worker and I kept gazing wistfully at it all afternoon... goondness! Snap out of it!
Hehe. I'm crazed about making "kids stuff" too. But now, one of my best friends is having a baby and so I get to make her kid tons of cool stuff! Tie-dye onesies? yes! Argyle sock-monkey? Yes!!! Trippy bubble quilt??? Yes!! :)
LOL. I am having way too much fun. I really will have to have kids some day.

You could've asked me, I know knitting is addictive. Horrible addictive, worse than most art forms since you can't stop even when you watch tv, sit on the side in the car or travel by train or... :-)
Great autumn picture Tania. Autumn can be great, but right now we have a cold wind outside and around here in Sweden. *brrr*
take care!
