City of Craft was awesome. Big congrats to the organisers of the show- what a lot of work! I was all happy and exited to arrive and see how much was going on and how many people were there. I just got a couple of little things. The sweet barrettes by Matthea made, the irresistable apple earrings by I Love Heartbeat. The cute mushroom pin and the nutty "sausage" toy which I could not leave behind. I even ran into my friends and went out for coffee afterwards which made my day. Hi S and P!
This little pin I got at the sale in my work building which I did not participate in this year. It is a dish, cut out as a pin and I love it because it looks old fashioned and modern/digital all at the same time. It looks big but it about the size of a twoonie coin- soory thats a Canadianism, but I can't think of a better comparison! The people who made it were a husband and wife - retired school teachers! The had cut tea cups in half and used them as night lights that glowed beautifully. I got one for my mum. Really sweet, and I was somehow taken by it all.
We got our tree up but not decorated yet. It smells amazing. Yay for December!
love the apple earrings, sounds like you had fun. lol

Hello! Wasn't it amazing?
My husband had his photos on display and was selling cards and framed and matted photos on the balcony! I too bought some MatteaMade clips. They were so beautiful. I also picked up some lovely pieces from le petit pig, i love her little notebooks. And then my friend Joel, the puppeteer always has yummy pieces.
Too bad i didn't see you..are you going to the sassy craft show? I will be selling beads and cards and little art shows. And at the Artisan Craft Fair as well! Hope to meet you one day..
Hope you are warm!

Hi, I read your post about the china cut into pins and nightlights - this might be the smallest world ever. I think they were made by my mom's friend Judy. Actually, I might just be delusional, there are probably lots of people that make and sell crafts like that. I know I receive lots of those gifts for Christmas - nightlights, little angel tree ornaments, etc, all made from old china.
