sweet owl! and did you see the film of notes on a scandal? (judi dench, cate blanchett) it's really good. i thought i might find it horribly claustrophobic (my mind gets a little trapped in some films) but it was ace.
also, do you know there are penguin book mugs like that vintage cover. if you can't get them over there, let me know and i'll try to get you one.

Those vintage penguin books are awesome.Brings back some good old memories of being a young 'un!I must get my mitts on a few of those and Hazeljoy's mug sounds great.

congrats on your book! i don't know if you know this, but i worked in kid's books for 14 years and i became a kid's book specialist! And now with all my puppet work with kids in the schools, i often look for new stories to work with..hmmm..maybe the kids could use your story as a beginning...heehee!

i love the owl. we just got back from oaxaca and they had a bunch of those creatures all around..amazing!

just so you know, i am now starting a Toronto ATC group, you might be interested!

your owl is lovely :)
but that tea poster is driving me crazy! I dream about it almost every time I put my head on the pillow! are you planing to buy it?

Aw, that owl is adorable, so helpless and cute! I did a similar post yesterday with stuff that inspires me. :-)
