Speaking of owls, look what my neighbor brought me back from Mexico for babysitting her cat!! Talk about cuteness, I love this guy. (sorry, he is a tad blurry)
I wanted to show you some stuff I have been coveting lately!
I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of this awesome calendar from Happymeat. She still has a couple left, so grab 'em while you can!
And how about this great print from the geniuses over at Keep-Calm.com. So true. I love me some tea.
Also, a great big thank-you for all the sweet comments about my book!! I love reading them so much, it makes the whole thing seem REAL!
sweet owl! and did you see the film of notes on a scandal? (judi dench, cate blanchett) it's really good. i thought i might find it horribly claustrophobic (my mind gets a little trapped in some films) but it was ace.
also, do you know there are penguin book mugs like that vintage cover. if you can't get them over there, let me know and i'll try to get you one.

Tania,
congrats on your book! i don't know if you know this, but i worked in kid's books for 14 years and i became a kid's book specialist! And now with all my puppet work with kids in the schools, i often look for new stories to work with..hmmm..maybe the kids could use your story as a beginning...heehee!
i love the owl. we just got back from oaxaca and they had a bunch of those creatures all around..amazing!
just so you know, i am now starting a Toronto ATC group, you might be interested!
