I have made 4 batches of chocolate chip cookies since Christmas. I seem to be addicted to them, especially right out of the oven with a glass of milk. mmmmm.
Here are some innessential pretty things I treated myself to on the weekend. Flower shaped cookie cutters! I love that they are all different sizes. I have this distant dreamy fantasy of sugar cookie sandwiches with jam in the middle, the top layer has a smaller flower window cut out and the tops are dusted with icing sugar... how nice.
Speaking of icing sugar, we have gotten snow upon snow lately. I really could have taken a prettier picure, because the trees are iced with it on every branch and the park looks so nice. This was last friday though, and the scene has been repeated twice since with more coming tonight.
Yum - I could go for some of your cookies right now! Can you tell us where you found those flower cookie cutters? I would love to get a set! Thanks!

How about all this weather, eh? Insane! And, those cookie cutters are darling! Oh, and, also? Care to share your choc chip cookie recipe? I swear, I've tried a million choc chip recipes and I *still* haven't found one I love. True story!

OOOH I love those cookie cutters! I find it really strange how you often write about things that I am thinking about at the same time. I just picked up alot of second hand cookie cutters (sadly none as cute as yours) to embark upon the whole world of baking with a toddler. I put a thing on freecyle and then drove my pushchair all over York picking up everyones contributions. The other weird thing was the ALBA lipgloss which is a total obsession since I picked some up in Vancouver.

Hey, you! I have the same cookie cutters! They inspire me to make REALLY RIDICULOUSLY ELABORATE iced cookies which always starts out as a fun project but, somewhere about hour #6, begin to seem like an excuse to drink a lotta wine.....
