Well, not really, but you know that anti-climatic feeling after an anticipated event? I got that. Snore pie with yawn sauce. This was not a birthday cake, though I do have a picture of that still on my camera. This is a cake I baked in my new bundt cake pan from the rummage sale last week. I was over joyed that it actually came out of the pan since I have never made a cake like this. It was a basic blueberry/yogurt/pound cakey thing I found in the joy of cooking and because it required 5 tablespoons of butter, I somehow read the conversion chart to mean it needed 1 1/4 cups of butter. Clever girl.
Needless to say it was really yummy and buttery!
One of my birthday gifts from Paul was this book which I tore through in one day, I enjoyed it so much. Check it out!
Happy Birthday. Buttery/blueberry, must have been heavenly.
