I started to work on my quilt this past weekend from the fabrics I showed here plus some of my stash.
It will be one of those stacked coin quilts (inspired by the one I saw in this book ) maybe once it is done. That is what I was aiming for but you know how it goes, I am not all that accurate. Thats whats nice about this kind of quilt, accuracy is not mandatory. In fact , it might look nicer all wonky. I can hope anyway.
Here are some yummy blueberry pat squares I also madet his weekend with this recipe, minus a bit of butter and sugar. I had one last week at starbucks and it was so yummy I wanted to see if the recipe was somewhere and it was ofcourse! There's my new butterfly mug we got last week at the museum. They were on sale! Have I mentioned my mug problem? Well, I have one. I seem unable to leave a cute mug behind and we are running out of space. I was good though, on the weekend at the thrift store, I left two really cute ones there. I am getting better. I do so love my tea and having it in a nice mug. Those moments really do make my days so much happier!
Oh, just found Shinzi katoh's site (again?) SIGH!! Love every single thing here.
i've admired those stacked coin quilts i've seen online and hope to begin one of my own soon. love the colors/patterns you've pulled together from your stash. hope it comes along quickly. can't wait to see it grow.

Love the fabrics you´ve chosen for this one! I agree that quilts don´t always have to be so accurate.

I think your quilt is beautiful. I'm waiting for the courage to start one, too, I've been planning it since spring (my excuse is I don't have a lot of time on my hands...). I do think yours looks nicer all wonky, actually.
And those blueberry thngies look delicious. Would they work with plums, do you think? We have lots of those at the moment.
