Willow is in stores! This is the first sighting at the Chapters near my work. I will let you in on a little secret, I practice guerilla promotion of my books. These were on the shelf, but not the New and recommended table, as they SHOULD have been so I did a little switcheroo. They had the Cat in the hat" and the "Little Prince" on the table and while they are great books, they are not NEW. Anyway, that is about as bold as I get. RRR! Watch out world!
P.S. If you happen to see a copy in your local bookstore, and you are feeling energetic, i would love a photo of it or you with it, for my little photo album there on the right.
The new Gudrun catalog at breakfast- yummy!
A miracle geranium! I brought all my pots down to the basement in the fall. last week while doing a wash I saw this one, who had bloomed all by itself, in the complete dark! Lovely!
Oh and there is girl cat again, NOT meowing for a change!
I made scones! Not really a big deal, but for me it was. It was a fussy recipe and it ended up working despite blueberries going everywhere and a frustrating moment cutting in the cold butter. Perfect hot from the oven with butter.
Oh and one more thing! Look, there she is on Amazon Japan! That's neat for me. Goodness knows I have spent enough money there in my time. I wonder if anyone in Japan would buy it? Hope so.
Oh, I wish I would have known the book was out. I was at a bookstore this morning. Congratulations! How exciting for you.

I already requested it at my local book store and and put the word out on the east coast(did this with my friends movie and it helped).
We also have the same red pyrex dish thing(red one)..I scored two on ebay and love them!

That is the funniest thing I ever heard - I just have this picture of you in my head - tiptoeing around with a pile of books giggling at being naughty - tell me it made you giggle??? I promise to do the same if I ever go to a book shop it really appeals to my naughty side!I just got my package ordered from that Gudrun catalogue - I am so in love - its the only time I wish I was a millionaire :)

You are too awesome! I agree, your book should have been on that table to begin with.

I do guerilla marketing every time I'm in a book store. I always search the computer for my friends' books and then leave the page up for the next surfer to stumble upon. I also like to randomly leave copies out of place where the eye can see! Congratulations on your book - can't wait to see it (and promote it!)
