Awesome fabric!! I went down to the hardware store to get some screws to install baby gates- someone learned to crawl last week! That sounds simplistic. WE went, walked down with the stroller. My whole week revolved around today being not so freezing that it would be ok to go, I am anxious about the baby gates not being in yet and the screws are key since our wall is brick. I always race (and get too hot), incase Finch gets mad and starts crying- he is more often than not, always just fine, and was today. Then I went to the workroom as a treat since I had not been since way before Finchy was born- just to look. HA! How could I leave without these? Then I raced home for nap time. We have done lots of nap - walks where he sleeps in the stroller, but its been SO cold, I didn't want to today. Didn't he just fall asleep as I turned the corner to home? So we walked around aimlessly another 45 minutes.
Later on, I managed to cram him in his bouncy thing and had a cup of tea and some toast!! Victory! Triumph! He has LOVED this jumpy thing for ages and the last two days has decided he can scream bloody murder, arch his back and bend his leggies to not go in. Once he is in, he is happy as a clam and bounces around. Silly baby! Thank goodness for friends who lend me stuff I never knew I would need, like said jumpy thing. So useful! I can't believe I did a whole blog post before he woke up! Triumph! Victory!
