Ah these tulips knock my socks off...
Working on a cool project (in the house alone, oh bliss!
) - a map for a book about cycling in Toronto. It is stories about
people's cycling lives/adventures? Not sure of the most accurate
description, but you can see some on the blog here.
Really neat! Makes me look at the city differently again and remember how much I love it here.
Okay! Enough about Willow! I wanted to do my part in promoting the book but I am happy to move on now. Thanks to everyone who entered the draw!! I wished I could give all of you a book.
I am loving this book right now. My friend told me about it and Finch loved it so much he didn't want to give back their copy. So I ordered one right away, just as much for myself! It is so chock full of things to look at and is so NICE! I just love it. People are doing comforting things, like airing out the duvet in the springtime, walking in the park or just down the street. Everyone has on fun clothes with stripes and polka dots and it really just make my heart happy to sit and look at it with Finch. We keep finding new things, and can follow each character through the same scenes each season visually, as there is no written story. Marvellous!
Hooray! The winners are.... Don and Megan! So exiting! My lovely assistant picked for me and was very careful to pick two names. Don, I have known since art college where we laughed and laughed all through jewellery class and Megan has been such a loyal reader for so long! Its fun to do a draw- I am sorry everyone could not win a book!! I will be in touch to get your adresses!
