I did say I was done Willow promo, but it was really gratifying to have it reviewd in the Globe here yesterday. The other books reviewed are snazzy too and I am humbled to be in their company.
Oh Please click to see better, typepad always chops off my right edge of images!
My old ancient IPHONE 3 is so lovely because I can take pictures all the time, and all I care about is wonderful coffee and tea and cinnamon buns- This from a delightful coffee date with one of my favorite people.
We went out to visit my mum, and I got a glorious afternoon to myself. It involved coffee of course, a walk in the woods and reading a book (Kinsey and me by Sue Grafton. I spent the last year addicted to Sue Grafton.)
This is my kale harvest from MARCH- It didn't die all winter long. Now its sprouting happily next to my daylilies in a half foot of front garden.
Did I mention I went to the Marimekko show this past winter at the textile museum? It was AH-mazing.
We got goldfish! They lasted about a week... That was a tricky talk with the nearly 3 year old. He seemed to accept the notion that they were finished, just the like tulips were on the kitchen table. :/ okidoke.
A new little shop is set to open near me with the cutest sprouts in the window. I think it will have local produce and things... but those are my dear brothers red shoes reflected in the window. He was here for a week and we got a nice afternoon together to walk through the city andf have sushi for lunch.
Okasy- I guess that was a FEW things...
